Welcome to Clondalkin Remembers
The ways we have been able to say farewell to our loved ones have changed during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The restrictions and lockdowns have sometimes also made it more difficult to give and receive support for those bereaved.
We have not been able to meet in the same ways, to create and attend events in the same ways, to call in on each other in the same ways.
This has made the experience of loss and grief even harder for many of us.
Clondalkin Remembers is one way in which we can remember those who have died, and offer some small support to those who are bereaved. There are two parts to Clondalkin Remembers. The Book of Remembrance is an on-line resource where you can include a loved one who has died in 2019 or 2020, and where you can also share what has helped you in your bereavement.
The online Remembrance Event on Thursday the 26th of November is a non-religious all-inclusive event where we will remember everyone with links to Clondalkin/Dublin 22 who have died recently. It will include the reading of all the names in the Book of Remembrance.
